This was conveyed by TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono accompanied by National Police Chief General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Army Chief of Staff General Dudung Abdurachman, Army Chief of Staff Admiral Muhammad Ali and Chief of Air Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo during a press conference before the wayang orang show with the play Pandawa Boyong, in the Lobby Theater Jakarta Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta. (15/1).
The Pandawa Boyong puppets were the idea of the TNI Commander, Admiral Yudo Margono while still serving as Kasal, as part of a collaboration between the TNI and the Indonesian Warriors Heritage (LIP) led by Jaya Suprana and the Bharata puppet group.
This performance involved Main Officers of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Police as well as 400 Indonesian Navy soldiers.
"So at the same time the synergy of the TNI-Polri, in addition to maintaining sovereignty, security and protecting Indonesia's bloodshed, is also the synergy of the TNI-Polri to preserve Indonesia's original culture," said the TNI Commander.
In this event, the TNI Commander played the character Bima Sena, the National Police Chief as Prabu Puntadewa, Kasad as Batara Brama, Kasal as Batara Baruna, Kasau as Resi Abayasa and Ketum Dharma Pertiwi Ny. Vero Yudo Margono plays Dewi Nagagini.
The play Pandawa Boyong tells about five Kshatriya brothers boyongan (moving) from Alengka which is controlled by Kurawa to Astina Pura. The move was to take back the rights controlled by the Kauravas.
The Pandawa warriors fought against the Kauravas, who were much larger in number and had more weapons. But thanks to their sincerity and good intentions, the Pandavas were able to win the war.
"Obviously the meaning that can be drawn is where anger is sure to lose to those who act honestly and sincerely," explained TNI Admiral Yudo Margono.

This performance is also in commemoration of the Indonesian Navy's Dharma Samudra day which falls on January 15 each year.
"The ancestral culture of this nation is still relevant in an era like this, it is still relevant to be preserved, to be emulated," said the TNI Commander.
Apart from the main officials from the TNI and Polri who played a role, this performance also involved Indonesian celebrities such as Choky Sitohang, Marcella Zalianty, Putri Khairunnisa, Connie Rahakudini Bakrie, Yessy Sutiyoso, Aylawati (ma).
