Jakarta, Indonesia News : The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) continues to work on improving the information system and employment services.
The aim is to make employment information and services easily accessible to all people. So that it has a positive impact on employment development.
This was conveyed by the Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah, when receiving a courtesy visit by the CEO of the WCC Group, Jan Jensen, at the Office of the Ministry of Manpower, Jakarta (13/2).
Now, said Ida, her party already has an employment information and service system called SIAPkerja (Employment Service Application and System).
In this system, there are various employment services such as competency improvement (Skill Hub), competency certification (Serti Hub), placement (Karir Hub), to entrepreneurship development and assistance (Biz Hub).
"This is a system that integrates all employment services, and we will strive to continue to develop an international standard employment service system," explained Ida.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower, Anwar Sanusi added, the SIAPKerja application is one of the Ministry of Manpower's efforts to carry out digital transformation in the field of employment.
The Ministry of Manpower will continue to develop this application considering that currently Indonesia's workforce is 144 million and continues to grow every year.
Meanwhile, one aspect that needs to be developed is the matching (matching) between supply and demand for labor.
"We must improve the suitability of jobs, because the main problem in the Indonesian labor market today is the mismatch between supply and demand," said Anwar (ma).
