A total of 120 medical personnel and 20 tons of humanitarian aid headed to Turkey |
Jakarta, Indonesia News : Garuda Indonesia brought a humanitarian mission to Turkey by flying at least 120 health workers and 20 tons of humanitarian aid consisting of logistical needs and disaster response needs, which was initiated by the government through the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) for earthquake victims in Turkey (13/2 ).
The humanitarian flight is served by an Airbus A330-300 fleet and is the first of two humanitarian flights for the Indonesian government to Turkey which are planned to be carried by Garuda Indonesia.
Departs from Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Airport at 09.00 WIB, Jakarta heads to Turkey via King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah at 15.20 LT, then flies again at 16.50 LT and is planned to arrive at Adana Sakirpasa Airport at 19.50 LT.

Garuda Indonesia President Director Irfan Setiaputra said, "serving this humanitarian flight has its own meaning for us that as a national flag carrier to be able to continue to maintain our mandate in contributing to maintaining national values by being at the forefront of realizing the Indonesian people's concern for the Turkish people through services safe and comfortable flight.”
Irfan explained that the procedure for the departure of the health workers and logistical assistance had gone through intensive coordination with stakeholders related to the safety and security aspects of inter-state flights (MA).
